Diamond Plate Fender Covers

Diamond plate/checker plate fender covers. Looks great, adds strength, non-slip. These fender covers are custom cut for GrenadierUSA right here in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Available in satin black that matches the rear ladder. 

These fender covers are made of a 0.125" aluminum alloy which is slightly thicker than the 0.11" aluminum alloy that Ineos uses if you ordered these on your build. Ineos states that the plain/uncovered Grenadier fenders can handle a 198lb load spread out (not a point load); but with their fender covers, the load increases to 330lbs, so you can stand on the fenders when covered. Ours is negligibly thicker than theirs and should offer the same load increase but we haven't done any specific weight testing. 

This is an easy upgrade but it does require some technical skill. For warranty reason we do not supply the VHB tape with these plates. We recommend the use of 3M 5952 VHB Tape (3/4" or 1") to adhere the covers to your clean paint(3M tape NOT included - order it online or pick up at an auto parts store. We will put a link at the bottom of the page). As with anything, they will turn out as perfect as you make them, so take care to adhere them exactly where you want them. VHB tape is "Vey High Bond" tape and is made for the purpose of permanently joining things, so when applied properly, you don't have to worry about these plates going anywhere. If you want to, you can rivet these right onto your fender instead. 

Maybe you weren't sure about ordering your Grenadier with these plates, or maybe you just didn't want to have the fender covers drilled into your brand new fenders. If you want to add them, now you have the option.

We just got them back from powder coating and wanted to get them listed asap because we have had so many requests for them. I'll update pics asap but for now just know that yours will lay flat once adhered or riveted. **
