nice fit, like the install video on utube huge plus…very well made and packaged. Love the logo…my only feedback and why I gave 3 stars is that you can’t place a phone in the slot with a drink (unless it’s a skinny can of Perrier) the cup holder on the passenger side also had an angled side wall that precludes placing a similar diameter drink container as the driver side.., that and the sales description says it’s made of rubber but it looks like 3d printed plastic. Overall a great look just wish it functioned better.
We are sorry that you were not happier with your purchase. The only way we could make the cupholder bigger would be to cut away at the OEM frame, and we wanted to avoid permanent modifications to the vehicle. As for the tilt, that was needed to be able to fit two large cups. We made dozens of designs and we were just able to squeeze two large tumblers in the cupholder be kicking one over on a slight angle. That slanted wall you mentioned is there to make room for the transfer case shift cable, nothing we can do about that. The factory cupholder actually has both cupholders slanted away from each other, we wanted to leave the driver side vertical. As for the phone slots, the geometry of the underlying components just wont allow both a phone and a large cup, but we decided it was better to have part time phone slots then to not have any. Also, the cupholder is 3D printed Urethane Rubber. Sorry we were not more detailed with our website listings.
This piece is awesome. The cupholder wasn't the driving force for me making this purchase, it was to reduce the glare coming off the OEM trim pieces. I absolutely love this, it's a perfect fit, the finish is awesome, this is the way the Ineos should have come from the factory.
